Hey friends! How’s it going?? I honestly miss blogging more often, but my scattered brain just hasn’t been allowing it lately. It’s nice to just relax and enjoy life every once in a while though. We all already have so much going on in our lives, that taking it easy in a few of the less crucial aspects should be a gift we give ourselves when we need it.
It’s been a couple weeks since I’ve done a What I Ate Wednesday post, and I’m really excited to get back into it. Especially, now that it has become so simplified for me with my new favorite app, Instagram! No more toting my giant camera everywhere with me on Tuesdays! Although, actually, you’re going to see a mix of Instagram and camera pics on here today.

Before we left, I started my day off with some of the awesome kombucha that Keenan picked up for me at the Broadway Farmers’ Market a couple of days ago. I’m obsessed with the bottle!
Did you know that full strength kombucha actually contains a small amount of alcohol from the fermentation process? Keenan told me that he got ID’d to buy this bottle! It’s only 2-2.5% though, and I never drink enough of it to even get a buzz.
After my kombucha, I whipped myself up a big green juice. I figured it would be a good way to get a good start to the day, since I wasn’t sure how healthily I would be eating for the rest of the day.
Grapefruit, cucumber, celery, kale, and lemon.
I drank my juice in the car, while we drove north. Soon, after it was gone, we decided to stop at one of our favorite little northern spots, Skagit River Brewing Company, to grab a beer.
I had the Farm to Market Ale and Keenan enjoyed some IPA, which we can’t remember the name of.
When we reached Anacortes, we stopped to grab some lunch from The Market, a large health-friendly grocery store. I picked up some corn salad and lemon cilantro tofu from their deli.
Even better, I got to enjoy this view while I ate.
We stopped at a bar so Keenan could have a beer, and I could get some water, and ended up meeting some local guys, who showed us some incredible spots, and ended up bbqing with us!
My dinner was a bit snacky. The guys were bbqing, so I got some stuff to munch on, along with some Field Roast apple sage sausages for the grill.
Definitely good times and good food.

It was wonderful, thank you!
That was actually the first Uber bar I’ve tried. It was really good!
