Wow! I can’t believe this is already my 13th What I Ate Wednesday post! Time sure flies when you’re having fun! It’s always delightful to hook up with Jenn over at Peas and Crayons for this lovely adventure in food! Anyway, here’s what I was munching on yesterday!

The first thing I ended up eating were a couple pieces of sourdough bread from Keenan’s restaurant. Not breakfast, just my pre-breakfast appetizer.
My actual breakfast was a real treat though. My sweetie made me breakfast in bed! He made me an amazing tofu scramble with spinach, tomatoes, and fresh cilantro.
Keenan’s such an amazing cook, not to mention, he always plates everything so beautifully! I really need to hire him on as my food stylist for the blog!
After a big, late breakfast, I didn’t eat again until my break at work, when I enjoyed a big bowl of brown rice, edamame, spinach, and my cashew cheeze sauce.
I also got myself one of the new Starbucks special mocha chip Frappuccinos to sip on.
Not as healthy as my usual chai, but it was incredibly delicious! It even has Oreo cookie crumbles on top! Yum!!
When I got home from work, I texted Keenan, asking if he would bring me a salad from the restaurant, instead of my usual pasta. I was really craving greens and veggies!
Yes, those are mangoes! Keenan actually made an incredible mango sauce, as well, which I used for a dressing. Absolute perfection!
Usually, I do a bit of snacking in the evening, after my meal, but this salad must have been perfectly satisfying for my body, because I didn’t feel the need to grab anything else for the rest of the night. It always amazes me how content you can make your body, simply by filling it with delicious, nutrient-dense foods, instead of junk and simple carbs.
I hope you all have a wonderful Wednesday! Tell me what you’ve been munching on lately!

The cashew cheeze sauce sounds wonderful. I will have to try that out!
Thanks! Let me know what you think!
You’re blog is adorable! (and your name! teehee) I love that you use mason jars for everything–me too, I’m obsessed. I even started keeping beauty products in them recently, ha.
Thank you so much! Aren’t mason jars the best? They’re so cute functional at the same time!
