It’s Thirsty Thursday!!! I just got done running six miles in the rain, so of course I had to drink an awesome smoothie to recover afterwards! I’ve been playing with this recipe for a couple of weeks now, and it’s really becoming one of my favorites! Fruity antioxidants, greens, protein, and healthy fats will help to replace your lost energy, and rebuild your body nice and strong!
Blueberry Almond Smoothie
- 1 cup almond milk
- 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
- 1 T chia seeds
- 2 T almond butter (I prefer raw.)
- 2-3 large collard leaves
- 1 banana
- 1/2 cup frozen blueberries
Directions
1. Blend all ingredients until smooth.
