I am completely exhausted and brain dead tonight. I have no idea why. All I can say is that it is 10pm, and I really wish that I was home in my apartment with my boyfriend and my dog, instead of sitting here in the Seattle ferry terminal waiting for a boat.
The fact that Keenan is at home making vegan chili mac right now doesn’t help! I want to get that in my tummy now!
I guess instead of day-dreaming about the food that I want to be eating, I should be telling you about the food that I already ate!
My lunch salad today was loaded with mixed greens, tomato, bell pepper, cucumber, croutons, chickpeas, sunflower seeds, and Annie’s Goddess dressing.
For dinner, I had a Health Valley Organics lentil soup.
Even with lots of salt and pepper, the taste of this soup really isn’t salvagable. If you ever buy this brand, be prepared for it to be the blandest soup you’ve ever tried. I’d much rather just make my own.
After I clocked off tonight, I changed out of my work clothes, and went to wait for the bus, as usual. After I’d been sitting there for about ten minutes, I reached in my pocket to feel for my work badge/bus pass, and realized that it was gone! I must have left it in either the restroom where I changed, or in my locker with my work clothes. I tried to get back in to find it, but the doors were already locked, and everyone from my department appeared to have left for the night.
Thankfully, the bus driver let me on the bus without fare, and I have enough money to buy a ticket to take the ferry the rest of the way home. I was kind of freaking out on the phone to Keenan for about five minutes though. (Sorry, baby!)
1. I had yet another wonderful morning of cuddling with my puppy dog. Arlo was sleeping up next to me all morning, between my arm and my body, with his head resting on my arm. It makes my heart melt every time.
2. I got to load up on groceries this morning, plus I got to get my shopping trip kombucha!
3. I had some good laughs with my co-workers today. Always a good time!
Now, I’m about to chill out and spend the rest of my trip home relaxing.
