Lazy Hair

What’s up, guys??  Have a great Wednesday?  I hope so!!!

Mine was pretty cool.  Work was crazy busy.  It went by really fast, but I think I’m starting to lose my voice from talking on the phone so much today!  I’m just gonna have to bust out the hot tea when I get home!

My lunch today was a cup of Mediterranean vegetable soup on my first break.

The hospital where I work always has a variety of soups in the cafeteria, and they rotate with different soups everyday.  There are only a few vegan options available, and this is one of them.  It has zucchini, beans, greens, tomato, and who knows what else.  Definitely delicious!

The second half of my lunch was a salad.  No surprise here.

Mixed greens, spinach, tomato, cucumber, carrot, chickpeas, and Annie’s Goddess dressing.

Dinner was more soup.  Healthy Valley Organics split pea soup, to be specific.

I added three salt packets and two pepper packets to season it.  It’s really good soup, but bland as all can be without the added spice.

So, I know this is totally random, but lately I have been getting quite a few compliments from the ladies at work on my hair.  Funny thing is, that the only times that this happens are on the days when I have been super lazy or running late in the morning, and threw my hair up in a messy bun, straight out of the shower.

In the bathroom at work.

I even told them this, but they still stuck to the compliment!

Evidently, all it takes to look nice and put together in the morning is to towel dry your hair, run some leave-in conditioner through it, and twist it up with a hair tie!  No brush and no heat damage required!

No more feeling sloppy because I didn’t have a chance to do my hair!  I am going to take full and utter advantage of this.  Besides, it’s not like there’s much you can do with long hair when you have to stick a hair net over it at work everyday anyway.  ;)

What made today awesome?

1.  Work went by quickly today, since it was so busy!

2.  My favorite bus driver was driving tonight!  She’s fun to chat with.  I told her I’d try to bring her some peaches from my mom’s tree on Wednesday. :)

3.  I started e-mailing apartment complexes today!  We might start viewing some spots on my next weekend.  I’m so excited to move!!!!

What’s your best lazy-but-still-looks-good beauty trick?

Have a good night!  See you in September!!
