Well, I’ve made it back home, safe and sound! We had a direct flight, straight from Vegas to Seattle this time, so it only took about two hours to get back.
Yesterday we had such a blast on the strip! We managed to get around Caesar’s Palace, Paris, New York New York, Planet Hollywood, and the Monte Carlo.
After our encounter with Rajon Rondo the night before, we had heard that Kobe Bryant was staying at Caesar’s Palace. Caesar’s also happened to be where the shuttle from our hotel would drop us off, so we decided to make that the first stop on our tour.
After wandering around the casino floor for a few minutes trying to keep an eye out for a 6’8″ rich looking guy with a huge posse, we headed over to a bar on the floor, called Numb.
They had huge fruity slushie drinks, which sounded absolutely perfect. I ordered the 2nd largest size of the Strawberry Butterfly.
Keenan got the largest size of the flavor called Purple Kush.
With my drink in hand, I got a photo with the Emperor himself.
We walked through Caesar’s until we reached the lobby, then headed over to Paris.
We walked through the row of shops, before stopping so Keenan could play a couple of hands of Pai Gow.
We left through lobby, and discovered the Arc de Triomphe outside of the hotel.
Our next stop were the Miracle Mile Shops.
I had to get a pic with Buddha outside of Lucky.

I also picked up an Alan from the Hangover fedora in a Las Vegas gift shop. Plus, another large strawberry flavored alcoholic slushie beverage from Fat Tuesday’s. This pic that Keenan took on my Blackberry sums it up pretty well.
We wandered around Planet Hollywood, I watched Keenan play a few more hands, and then we found out way out and on to New York New York.
We rode the roller coaster, which was completely awesome, and then Keenan played a bit more Pai Gow. A man at the table with us actually got a Royal Flush while we were there! That would be so cool!!
From there, we walked to the Monte Carlo, played around a bit, then caught a cab back to our hotel, where we had dinner marinating.
We decided to take advantage of the full kitchen and bbq grill in our condo by preparing veggie kabobs for me, and steak and veggie kabobs for Keenan, with salad greens with Balsamic dressing on the side. The bf marinated everything in teriyaki for the entire time we were down on the strip, so the flavor was fantastic!
This morning, we woke up at 6am, myself incredibly hungover from all the sugary boozy drinks, to pack and head to the airport. We safely arrived back in Seattle around 11:45, and made it safely home. Keenan had to go straight in to work when he got back, so I’m just hanging out at home with my puppy dog until he gets back.
What have been your favorite vacation activities?
Have a great day!
